Gay men who live in the five counties of the Philadelphia region and Camden County have an incredible chance to lower their financial burden. The Bread and Rose’s Community Fund is excitingly announcing its great Jonathan Lax Scholarship for Gay Men. Applicants must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited graduate or professional school or college or attending any such school in the Philadelphia region can apply.
The purpose of the scholarship is to give equal opportunity to gay students who complete their higher education. The firm knows well the financial and social struggles of the gay men, and for providing them with some relief, this scholarship has been initiated. The scholarship was established in 1994 by the late entrepreneur and investor Jonathan R.Lax. The goal was to encourage gay men to achieve additional education. The scholarship wanted to aspire to the positions in which they contribute to society.
The Bread & Rose’s Community Fund was started in 1977 when activists and donors launched this fund. They have a record of offering $13 million towards the liberation of local people. The mission of the fund is to change, not simply to do charity. They build several funds for promoting racial equity and economic opportunity to all despite their backgrounds.
