The Sea Grant California is happily inviting candidates to apply for their extraordinary John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship. Any student, regardless of citizenship, who, between the onset of the 2020 Fall Term, and is enrolled towards a degree in a graduate program, and has an interest in ocean, coastal and Great Lakes resources and in the national policy decisions affecting those resources is eligible to apply.
The goal of this fellowship is to allow the students who are interested in learning more about the ocean, coastal and lakes. This program is desired to bring all the students irrespective of national origin and communities together to study and advance the coastal studies. The fellowship gives a chance to students who are interested in evaluating national policy decisions affecting the natural resources through this program. It provides immense financial support and an incomparable experience.
The Sea Grant California in collaboration with NOAA or National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the State of California and number of universities to offer some unique programs, products and services that will help in adding on the studies of different fields and well as the economy of the nation. Who May Be Eligible?

- Any student, irrespective of citizenship, who is enrolled for a degree in a graduate programme between the beginning of the 2020 Fall Term and has an interest in ocean, coastal and Great Lakes resources and is eligible to apply for national policy decisions concerning those resources.

How to Apply
Applicants who are eligible and interested in this program should apply for the fellowship through an online application form. All the mandatory details must be submitted adequately. The Foundation will not accept incomplete materials. Fellows should make sure the data they have provided is legit. The Foundation will reject applications submitted after the deadline is.

Benefits
The selected students will receive the package of $84000 in funding. It covers the fellow’s salary or stipends for the twelve months of program or fellowship, and $5000 must be used to cover allowable expenses. This fellowship ultimately reduces the financial burden of the candidates and encourages students to do better in their academics and work hard for their dreams.
