Gaylord Community Productions is pleased to offer its Performing Arts Scholarship. Otsego County residents or students attending an Otsego County School have an excellent opportunity to apply for this scholarship. This scholarship is initiated to assist students who wish to make their careers in Acting, singing, dancing, sound technology, scenery construction, set decoration, costume design, Theater management or theatre marketing, playwriting, etc. Students of Otsego County above the age of 12 can apply for this scholarship. Students who are interested in the fields listed above can avail this scholarship and benefit themselves.
This scholarship aims to promote the experience of “live” theatre through further education and learning in both the artistic and technical fields of theatre arts. Gaylord Community Production wishes to encourage students who plan to make their careers in the areas related to theatre. They’re offering this scholarship to assist them financially. With the number of scholarships, students can continue their classes or lessons and strive to achieve their goals.
The purpose of Gaylord Community Productions is to bring together the talented members of their community to display their talents while entertaining their families and friends. Gaylord Community strives to promote the talent of the local people of their community. They offer various opportunities to the people where they can showcase their talents. Who May Be Eligible
Criteria for each program are different. Some mandatory requirements are mentioned below:
- Applicants must be an Otsego County resident OR attend an Otsego County School.
- Candidates must be age 12 or older to be eligible for the scholarship.

Supporting Documents
- Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation with the application.
- Candidates must write a one-page essay. This essay should explain how the scholarship money would be used and why the applicant should receive the scholarship. This essay should be brief and descriptive.
Benefits
Gaylord Community Productions will award up to three scholarships up to $500 each. The Performing Arts Scholarship will be awarded to students who want to carry on their careers in performing arts in any college or university. This scholarship must be used before June 2021. This scholarship helps students to pursue their dream career without worrying about their finances.
