Little Theatre Performing Arts Scholarships

All the Greater Fall River area residents have great news to free themselves from their educational expenses load. The Little Theatre of Fall River is pleasingly inviting candidates to apply for their extraordinary 2021-2022 Little Theatre Performing Arts Scholarships. Fellows should be a resident of Assonet, Berkley, Dighton, Fall River, Freetown, Rehoboth, Somerset, Swansea and Westport; or Tiverton or Little Compton, R.I.; or should be a participant in Little Theatre productions to be eligible.

The Little Theatre of Fall River is willing to help the students in arts fields to grow vigorously, but the financial difficulties make it complicated for students and for reducing the burden the theatre has created these scholarships. The programs are to reduce the educational expenses of the students and motivate students to achieve their goals. The theatre is keen on helping the students make most of their careers.

The Little Theatre of Fall River, Inc is dedicated to helping the society grow through different initiatives. The company is passionate for reducing the students’ educational stress who are mainly into the theatre industry. Most of the initiatives are dedicated to reducing the stress of the educational expense of the students. Different programs are available for different educational levels.

Who May Be Eligible

Follow the criteria given below before applying for the scholarship:

  • A resident of the Greater Fall River area; Assonet, Berkley, Dighton, Fall River, Freetown, Rehoboth, Somerset, Swansea and Westport Tiverton or Little Compton, R.I.; participants in Little Theatre productions are eligible.
  • Applicants must be an entering freshman or a continuing student who is majoring in an undergraduate or graduate program in theatre arts, music, or dance at any accredited college or university.

How to Apply

All the students should apply for the scholarship by downloading the scholarship application. All the essential information should be provided through the application. Submit all the essentials supporting materials through the application to be considered. Late submissions will not be considered to award the scholarships. Mail your application materials to:

Supporting Documents

  • Three letters of reference, one mandatorily must be from a teacher of theatre arts, music, or dance, official high school transcript, letter of acceptance from the college or university which specifies your intended major is mandatory.
  • Please submit an essay of maximum 250 words discussing why you have chosen to major in theatre arts, music, or dance.

Benefits

Two scholarships, different scholarship programs will be awarded, as mentioned below:

  • $1,500: Little Theatre Performing Arts Scholarship.
  • $500: LTFR REX Performing Arts Scholarship.
