Applicants who are full-time or part-time students enrolled in ABFSE- or Canadian-accredited institutions/programs are eligible to apply. Students must be attending classes and actively pursuing a degree in funeral service to get consideration.
These scholarship funds are created to assist students in achieving success in their further funeral service studies. The candidates with the best descriptive essay and video will be distributed the awards. Through this program, recipients will cover various educational expenses such as tuition, fees, books, and supplies.

Who May Be Eligible?
Scholarship differs from each other; students have take look for some common eligibility requirements:

How to Apply
The Funeral Service Foundation is receiving applications for its several scholarships through an online portal. Eligible students will be required to submit their complete applications via an online scholarship form in which they are interested in applying. Applicants are asked to submit the below documents to make their application a complete one.
Supporting Documents
- Each candidate must answer five questions in no more than 250 words per question and submit a brief video, no longer than two minutes.
- Must submit the most recent transcripts from your ABFSE- or Canadian-accredited institution.
- A letter of good standing from an instructor or program director.
Benefits
The Funeral Service Foundation will be giving away up to 18 academic scholarships annually in two application cycles. These scholarships will range from $2,500-$5,000 for students to help them in their educational careers. Scholarship amount will be sent directly to the school and used for tuition, fees, books, and supplies. Foundation scholarships are subject to available funds and are not renewable; a Candidate may only receive a Foundation-awarded academic scholarship one time.

The applications for the scholarship program open from September 15 to November 1, 2020. It will not accept late or incomplete applications.
