The Florida Farmworker Student Scholarship Programs are need-based merit scholarships that provide financial assistance to 50 eligible students.

The goal of the programs is to support Florida resident students in their education. The Florida Department of Education, Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) is your designated guaranty agency for the state of Florida.  As the guaranty agency, OSFA has guaranteed Federal Family Education Loans for more than 30 years.

Who May Be Eligible?

Check the below-given requirements before applying for these scholarship programs:

  • Candidate should be a Florida resident
  • The fellow should earn a minimum weighted cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 for all high school courses creditable toward a diploma.
  • The student should have a minimum 90% attendance rate; and, no disciplinary action is brought against them.
  • The fellow should be a farmworker or child of a farmworker.

How to Apply

Eligible and interested students should apply for the program through an online application form. Candidates should complete a Florida Financial Aid Application before the deadline. Fellows should complete the FAFSA too. Applicants should first login using the online portal. If you do not have an account, you can create and use the credentials to access the form. Please complete the online application before the deadline with all the details and the materials needed. Incomplete or invalid data will not be considered.
