Who May Be Eligible
Please check the requirements mentioned below before applying for the scholarship:
- Fellows should be majoring in broadcasting, communications, or a related field at a four-year public or private college or university.
- Fellows must have a Nebraska connection in that they have either graduated from a Nebraska high school or be attending a Nebraska college or university to be eligible.
- Candidates must be planning a career in radio or television broadcasting.
- Applicant must be on track to complete 30 credits as of May 31, 2021.
How to Apply
All the eligible and interested fellows should apply for the scholarship by submitting the online application form. Provide all the essential information and material through the application. Please do not submit late submissions as the association will not accept those. Fellows are responsible for the originality of the information they are submitting through the application. Late applications will directly be rejected.
Supporting Documents
- Provide your most recent official transcript, two, signed one-page letters of recommendation supporting the application, and an essay on Given the impact of social media and its relatively low production cost, how would you redesign the broadcast radio and/or TV industry to remain both relevant to the audience and economically viable? Should be submitted.
Benefits
Two students will be selected to award the scholarship of $2000 each. The funds should only be used to pay the candidates’ educational needs like tuition, books, room, and other associated costs. These scholarships encourage students to achieve their career goals overcoming all the obstacles. The application process is extremely simple for all the students to apply.

Applications should be submitted before March 1, 2021. Any late or incomplete applications will be rejected by the association.
