Eberhart College Scholarships for Graduating Seniors

Are you a Guilford County Schools student? Then feel free to go for higher education after graduation. The Enrichment Funds is there to share your educational expenses through the $1,500 Eberhart College Scholarship. The Enrichment Funds is working to provide higher education from Guilford County Schools who are graduating senior and belong to a very weak background. The scholarship will be provided to such students who have a clear goal for their future and have good academic performance but lack the financial side.

The $1,500 Eberhart College Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to Guilford County Schools students who are graduating and are from weak economic backgrounds. Most of them will not proceed to higher institutions for their academics. To improve the living of these students and complete their wish the organization has initiated this scholarship.

Through budgets that are constantly raised, public education faces several drawbacks. The Enrichment Fund for the County Schools works to fill the gap between the student and the finance. They believe that a student’s financial circumstances should not keep them from taking part in field trips, special projects, and other transformative opportunities. They provide the funds to the recipient up to the tuition fees and the room expenses, board, supplies, etc.

Who May Be Eligible

Kindly go through the eligibility criteria:

  • Students must be having good academic performance with a GPA score of 3.0 or more.
  • Fellows should be involved in extracurricular activities.
  • Students must need financial support.
  • Applicants must be Guilford County resident.
  • Candidates must be graduating seniors from Guilford County School.

How to Apply

A filled application must be sent by the student with all the required documents along with the application. Students are requested to send the application by submitting all the material in one envelope and sending it to Eberhart Scholarship Enrichment Fund for the Guilford County Schools P. O. Box 10208 Greensboro, NC 27404.

Supporting Documents

To get considered, the applicants must submit the following documents:

  • Applicant must submit the complete application form
  • Students must submit an official high school transcript including courses taken, grades, class rank, and GPA score of a minimum of 3.0.
  • Applicants must submit SAT or ACT scores.
  • A fellow must submit two recommendation form ( one from principal, guidance counsellor, or teacher and the other from community representative )
  • Students must type and submit an essay of 500 words or less describing their aspirations and how their educational plans relate.
  • Applicants must provide proof of the need for financial assistance.

The provided scholarship should only be used for paying the fees, tuition fees, and other related academic expenses. The application procedure of this scholarship is too simple to access. $1500 scholarship will be given to the selected students.
