The Community Foundation is offering a variety of scholarship funds for students who are in desperate need of financial assistance. There are a variety of scholarship funds available for the students to apply for the academic year 2021-2022. The purpose behind offering the scholarship is to encourage potential applicants to review the scholarships mentioned below and get their scholarship applications in as soon as possible to get the funding they require to continue with their studies. The funds available will vary throughout the year. The eligibility criteria for all the scholarship funds mentioned are different so the candidate is advised to check the same before continuing with their application to prevent any kind of error or rejection in the future.
The Community Foundation offers a large number of scholarship funds every year with the view to help students with their education and tuition expenses and continue with their education. Their purpose is to provide support to the students of their community and serve them with the best quality service. To be considered during the scholarship review, make sure to submit your application as early as you can in the fall for the Winter 2022 semester. The deadline for the application submission is Sept. 30, 2021.

Through the creation, management, and administration of permanently endowed funds along with project-specific funds, the Foundation supports the efforts of its donors, volunteers, friends, and partners to work for the common good of the residents of St. Clair County. Their goal is to help transform our communities and the lives of our residents by collaborating to tackle big challenges facing our region – as well as seizing upon new opportunities.

Alice Moore Memorial Scholarship
- Graduate of St. Clair High School
- Studying the trades at a vocational center of learning
- A resident of St. Clair County
Alexander & Celestine Lamere Fund
- Graduate of Marine City High School attending SC4
- Preference for students with a minimum 3.5 GPA
- A resident of St. Clair County
Bert & Rose Wright Memorial Scholarship Fund
- Studying business at SC4
- Resident of St. Clair County
Blue Water Shipmaster’s Fund
Bluewater residents attending the Deck or Engineering program at:
- Great Lakes Maritime Academy in Traverse City, MI
- Great Lakes International Marine Training Centre, Georgian College in Owen Sounds, Ontario,
- or the St. Clair County Community College transfer program
Charles Myron & Betty Gossman
- Be an honorably discharged military veteran or be the child of a veteran, or have attended Garfield Elementary
- Attending SC4
- Have maintained a “C” average before entering SC4
- A resident of St. Clair County
Douglas & Elda Webb Scholarship
- Graduate of Port Huron Schools
- Attending a college or trade school within St. Clair County (SC4, Baker Culinary Institute, Paul Mitchell, Lakewood Therapeutic Massage)
- Preference for a minimum 2.5 GPA
- A resident of St. Clair County

The interested individuals are required to fill out the application form given on the scholarship portal and submit it there only.
Benefits
The applications submitted by you will be reviewed and judged by the selection committee and out of all, the most deserving candidates will be selected as the winners of the following scholarship. The winners will be provided with whatever funding they require to continue their education.
