To be chosen for this Jagdish Bhagwati Fellowship, you must first be admitted to the LL.M. Program at Columbia Law School.
How to Apply
To start the application process, first of all, applicants will have to submit a completed application for admission to the LL.M. program through LSAC, including a resume/CV and an essay. All entrants who have successful entered an eligible course will need to submit a separate application for these fellowships through the Office of Financial Aid.
As supporting documents, you can provide a resume/CV and an essay. The essay must be describing your academic and professional exposure to international trade, as well as your specific interests within this area. If you are interested in researching international trade during your LL.M., discuss your research agenda in the essay.
Label the first page of your essay “Application for Jagdish Bhagwati Fellowship” and upload the essay to the appropriate section of the application.
Through these fellowships, you can gain partial or full funding toward your educational expenses such as books and supplies, tuition, fee, and transportation. The university will provide educational funds up to three students who meet all the requirements of the university.
