This scholarship candidate must be a high school senior graduating from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. A legacy scholarship encourages a family heritage of managing a particular university and celebrates that heritage with money for college. Gina Rose Montalto was a member at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School of the class of 2021. She was one of the mass shooting victims in Parkland, Florida, on February 14, 2018. To honour her memory and commemorate her graduation year, the Foundation will be awarding one student. This scholarship program is offered with the Stanley G. Tate Florida Prepaid College Foundation.

- Candidates should verify that he/she was present on the Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school campus in Parkland.
- Fellows should ascertain that he/she is a current Florida resident and have lived in Florida since April 2020.
