The Claes Nobel Legacy Awards

The NSHSS is ecstatic to announce it’s the Claes Nobel Legacy Awards for the current year 2020. The program is cordially inviting high school seniors and college freshman who are enrolled in an accredited university.

The aim of distributing this award is to be a supportive pillar for the students in their higher education. The organization has designed the award amount in such a manner that it will surely help the recipients to accomplish their higher studies.

The National Society of High School Scholars supports young academics on their journey to college and beyond to become the leaders of tomorrow. It is inspired by the mission of the Nobel Prize to support academic achievement and world betterment.

Who May Eligible?

The candidates must follow all the eligibility criteria to qualify the program:

  • Must be high school seniors and college freshmen
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Must demonstrate in an outstanding manner the values of NSHSS Co-founder Mr Nobel
  • College freshmen must be enrolled in an accredited university.

How to Apply

The scholarship can be obtained by filling an online application form by the eligible student. The form should consist of the below-mentioned documents to get considered.

Supporting Documents

  • Must contain a resume, transcript and educator or program leader recommendation
  • Colour headshot suitable for website posting
  • Personal statement of 500 words stating the following paragraph:
  • Mr Nobel promotes “The Seven Rights” as a prescription for living a productive life and contributing to the betterment of society. Those include right thought, the right word, right deed, the right attitude and right livelihood, and conclude with right here and right now. “Ladies and gentleman, to have a future or not – that is our choice,” Nobel said. “… Together we can change the world.” Explain how you have contributed and are contributing to the betterment of the world through one or more of Mr Nobel’s “The Seven Rights.”

Benefits

The scholarship includes two $5,000 awards. The grant will be rewarded to one scholarship for a high school senior and one scholarship for a college freshman.
