Music is not just for entertainment, but it is more than that. It helps us lessen our stress, boost our mood, get us excited, or make us calm and relaxed. Whether for expressing emotions or making parties successful, music plays a vital role and occupies a special place in our life. Needless to say, music fills various colours in our life, and this world would have been so dull if there was no music. Keeping this in mind, Chicago International Music Competition has again started its search for talented individuals with a passion for music. 2021 Chicago International Music Competition is an international contest going to take place from July 18 to August 20, 2021. The organizer of this program is the International Institute of Piano Artistry. It will be co-organized by Wheaton College and Milan Conservatory.
This year, the program will be held online since there are still some restrictions on travelling, visa and cots due to the pandemic, and it might be daunting for an aspiring musician to travel in such time. Keeping in mind the negative impact that corona has made on people, it has been decided to run this year competition virtually. Doing so will help the competition in inviting a diverse c group of contestants and festival students. This year’s program will include increased prize money, new prizes and categories, and the world’s leading musicians as jury members and teaching faculty. So if you are fascinated by music and desire to achieve success in this field, then this competition is the right opportunity for you.
The International Institute of Piano Artistry, along with Wheaton College and Milan Conservatory, is now hosting this program to nurture the new generation of talented artists in the field of music. It also aims to promote the development of classical music and cultural exchange. Every year, these organizers welcome musicians from different parts of the world to get together in Chicago and presenting this contest as the platform where they can launch their successful career.
