Central Michigan University Incoming Freshmen Scholarship in Biology

Central Michigan University has initiated a wonderful scholarship programme which is targeted toward developing the next generation of the leaders in the field of biology. Who May Be Eligible?

To participate in this funding programme, candidates should be incoming freshmen with a minimum high school GPA of 3.5, a strong background in biology and chemistry, three years of mathematics, and a minimum composite score of 25 (ACT), or 1200 (SAT).

How to Apply

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, all entrants need to enrol in an undergraduate course in biology at Central Michigan University’s College of Science and Engineering. Once they have been accepted into an eligible course, they can send their application for this scholarship. Candidates are required to send their application with all applicable materials on time to the university.

Benefits

Through this scholarship programme, students can get up to $1,000. This award amount will be a contribution to students’ educational expenses. This scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years upon reapplication. To be eligible for renewal, the recipient must earn a GPA of 3.0 or better freshman year and a 3.25 thereafter, with a 3.0 or better in biology, chemistry, and physics courses. The student must complete at least one biology course per semester as a full-time student.
