Ball State University Robert and Sandra Morris Scholarship in Chemistry

To encourage talented students to consider pursuing higher education in the field of chemistry, Ball State University is sponsoring an excellent Robert and Sandra Morris Scholarship for the academic year of 2020-2021. This scholarship programme will provide monetary support to students who are passionate about chemistry and want to create a successful career in this emerging field. All incoming and transfer students of Ball State University can take part in this funding programme. This scholarship requires students to have a GPA minimum of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

This scholarship is a renewal for up to three years. It will be renewed for those students who remain chemistry majors and maintain a 3.0-grade point average on a 4.0 scale. This scheme was established in the memory of Sandra K. and Robert J. Morris who studied and served at Ball State University. With the help of this scholarship, the university wants to improve personal, professional, and academic growth of students and provide them with access to higher education in the field of chemistry and lots of other opportunities to enhance their learning journey. Who May Be Eligible?

Meeting the following requirements is mandatory:

  • Entrants must be incoming freshmen or transfer students;
  • Applicants should have a GPA minimum of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale;
  • Candidates must be pursuing a major in chemistry;
  • Aspirants should have a minimum SAT score of 1500 on a scale of 2400 or equivalent on a similar exam.

How to Apply

There is no additional application process for this scholarship programme. Candidates who have been admitted into an approved undergraduate course at the Ball State University will automatically receive this scholarship. As the application for admission will serve the application for the scholarship, entrants are advised to send their application to the university on time.

Benefits

The total value of the scholarship is up to $500. This amount of the award may change from year to year. This award amount will be provided to all qualified students and help them pay for their education-related expenses such as tuition, fee, books and supplies, transportation and etc.
