Who May Be Eligible
Eligibility requirements for the students interested in applying for the Blaine Barrilleaux Scholarship must fit the following criteria:

- Students planning to attend 2 or 4 years of college courses can apply for the scholarship.

- Applicants must submit 500 words or less brief introduction about themselves, about the importance of academics, and how it can be utilized to support your local community.
- Students must also submit an essay of 750 words or less on the topic ‘How you plan to use higher education to support your local community’. (Extra points will be given for the students who show a high level of creativity and provide real-life examples within their essay.)
- Applicants must submit recent transcripts from their high school with their application.
