Bear Creek School is actively announcing the availability of its new and beneficial funding programme called Price Scholarship. Aspirants, who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States, and entering grade 9 as new students in the fall of 2021, can avail this golden opportunity.
This scholarship seeks to recruit students who demonstrate academic excellence, Christian faith, and active school-community participation and leadership. Through this funding programme, Bear Creek School wants to ensure that students have access to a Bear Creek education.
Bear Creek School is a leading classical Christian school located in the heart of Redmond, Washington. Who May Be Eligible?
To be able to participate in this funding programme, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Entrants should be entering grade 9 as new students in the fall of 2021;
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents;
- Applicants should exhibit Christian faith, academic excellence, and passionate servant leadership;
- Participants must hold a minimum GPA of 3.3 (or equivalent) in the previous two school years;
- Students should demonstrate ongoing academic strength in the current school year;
- Aspirants must demonstrate significant achievement on the Independent School Entrance Exam (minimum scores in the 85th percentile on three of the four test categories);
- The recipient must demonstrate exemplary behaviour before admission.
How to Apply
To receive this scholarship, it is mandatory to take admission in grade 9 as a new student in the fall of 2021 by completing an online admission application form. Schedule visit/interview dates early and well in advance of January 25, 2021. After applying for admission, applicants’ parents or guardians can notify the school that they would like their child to be considered for this award by sending an email to admissions@tbcs.org. Please mention “Applying for Price Scholarship” along with your child’s first and last name in the subject line of the email.
Supporting Documents
All applicants are required to send all admission portal required items including the student essay to admisisons@tbcs.org. The essay must be written within 650 words, explaining: What is the most significant book you have read? Why?
Benefits
All selected applicants will be awarded at varying dollar amounts. Apart from this, candidates will receive ongoing mentorship opportunities with key administrative leaders throughout the academic year. Price Scholarship is renewable through grade 12 to students.
