American camp association is offering a J. Wendell and Ruth T. Howe Golden Lens award photography contest for 2022. The contest offers you a chance to showcase your talent in photography. If you are into photography then this can be a great opportunity for you to win your way to receive some incredible awards.
The best part about this scholarship is that it has no limitations regarding eligibility. Everyone is eligible to apply for this scholarship. Parents or their children, anyone can take part in the following contest. The contest asks you to click more than 10 of your favorite and fantastic photos that perfectly depict the camp experience you and represent the best practices in the field and accreditation standards.
The American camp association is a community of camp professionals with over 100 years of experience in working as a team to share their knowledge and experience to ensure the quality of camp programs. Who is Eligible?
Anyone can apply for this contest.
How to Apply?
To participate in the following contest, the interested individuals must send no more than ten of their favorite photos that portray their camp experience and represent the best practices in the field and accreditation standards. Additionally, applicants are also required to fill out the photo release online form
Applicants must add ACA to their photo release language before taking all the camp photos. Photos must be in the TIFF or JPEG format and at least 300 dpi.
At the time of submission, include the following: the photographer’s name, camp name, contact address, and phone number.
Camps can also submit multiple photos from multiple photographers, but make sure to designate each image’s photographer. Also, please limit your submissions to ten photographs per camp. All the submissions can be made through email to magazine@ACAcamps.org
