The Amcor Foundation has announced a scholarship program for high school seniors or graduates or current postsecondary undergraduates. Students must have to enroll in a full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year college or vocational–technical school for the entire upcoming academic year; applicants entering into this program should have a minimum GPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent). The program is for students that are resided in some particular states of the US. Students will get an opportunity to pursue their education in industrial-skilled trade such as mechanical, electronics, or automation.
The program will be administered by Scholarship America, so the selection will be done by them only, based on academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, and other concepts. Financial needs must be demonstrated by the student to get considered for the awards. Awards will be given to up to 20 applicants, and each will receive the amount of $2,500. The amount will be used for the student’s educational purposes and to manage their education-related expenses. This will help students in pursuing their education without having more financial concerns.
The Amcor Foundation was established in 1959 to serve their Amcor Flexibles communities as their principal tool in the United States. Their purpose is to provide monetary donations and community support from volunteer work; they donate several million per year to charitable organizations as they care about the communities in which they live and work. They encourage greater student interest in STEM learning and degree programs. This scholarship is one of their work to support their community.
