Who May Be Eligible
Eligibility criteria for the AD Club of Western Mass Scholarship are as follows:
- Interested applicants must be high school seniors with a permanent address in Western Massachusetts.
- Candidates must be accepted by an accredited college/university or technical school to study advertising, communications, marketing, or graphic arts to be eligible.
- Applicants must be planning to enter college or technical school in September after high school graduation.

Students must submit all the documents and materials without any negligence. Any late or incomplete applications will not be accepted by the college. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered for the scholarship.
Supporting Documents
- Applicants must attach an academic performance determined from the official high school transcript of grades.
- Candidates must submit an essay on any 2 Extracurricular activities, community service, work experience, and demonstrated interest in advertising/communications/marketing or graphic design that candidate is interested in.
- Students must attach three personal recommendations from teachers, clergy, family physician, or any professional. Letter from any professional employee who can describe candidates’ qualifications for the scholarship can write the letter. Letters from family members or friends will not be considered for the scholarship.
- Fellows must attach four application letters of introduction outlining; future plans, personal goals, and how they relate to communications and academic goals. Students can make it as brief and detailed as much as possible.
- Interested applicants must submit a detailed resume. This resume should list extracurricular activities, special interests, previous work history, and anything that demonstrates a dedication to the advertising/communications/marketing or graphic design industries.
