ACEC California has started receiving applications from bright candidates for its outstanding funding programs. These scholarships have been made available to provide financial backing to qualified engineering and land surveying students throughout California. These scholarships will help students entering their junior, senior, fifth or master’s degree year in the Fall of 2020. Applications for these programs are currently open for interested students who are in need of financial assistance to continue their education.
The purpose of ACEC California behind offering these funds is to empower students’ academic goals and encourage them to achieve their fullest potential. Financial assistance works as a confidence booster for students, and it also helps them release their financial stress that might be bothering them for long. Scholarships have been contributing in decreasing the drop out numbers in the nations. ACEC California Scholarships seek to fund the education of talented students who are facing financial difficulties.
ACEC California is a non-profit organization enhancing the consulting engineering and land surveying professions, protecting the general public and promoting the use of the private sector in the growth and development of the state. It is regarded as the largest member organization in the American Council of Engineering Companies. It includes 22 local chapters covering the state, a 61-member Board of Directors, 24 Committees, 1 Academy, 5 affiliated organizations and a state office staff of 11.

- Aspirants must be interested in the possibility of pursuing a career in consulting engineering or land surveying.
- Candidates must be a United States Citizen.
How to Apply
Candidates need to download the application form from the site and send it. Along with application form, they will have to submit a 500-word essay, official transcripts and a completed recommendation form. Applicants’ official transcripts can be sent by the university via standard mail or emailed to Stephanie Reed through the electronic transcript process.
