ABA Diversity Scholarship’s applications are currently open for freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student at an accredited University. The candidates also need to be engaged in any travel and tourism industry.
The Foundation designed this program with a point of view to financially assist students who are in need. The grant amount is good enough to pay for any relevant expenses of higher education and accomplish a career.
The American Bus Association is an industry serving over 600 million passenger trips annually on charters, tours, scheduled service and shuttles. ABA membership includes motorcoach operators, tour operators, tourism-related organizations, and products.

Who May Eligible?
Candidates are asked to review the below requirements to apply for the scholarship:
- Must be a freshman, sophomore, senior, junior, or graduate student at an accredited University.
- Must have major or course of study relevant to the travel and tourism industry. Travel and tourism includes a varying range of professions from accounting to hospitality management and everything in between
- Must demonstrate your diversity (this includes varying cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, nationality, minorities, age, race, or ethnicity) to evaluators.
How to Apply
The eligible students are needed to register themselves or log in for the submission of their complete applications.
Supporting Documents
- Must submit a 500-word essay stating the role you hope to play in advancing the future of the transportation, motorcoach, travel, and tourism/hospitality industry.
Benefits
The ABA Foundation will be awarding a scholarship of amount $5,000 to an outstanding student to pay for his/her expenses related to education.
