Virginia, Maryland, Delaware Association of Electric Cooperation is very eager to offer financial support to the students in completing their higher education. Virginia, Maryland, Delaware Association of Electric Cooperation or VMDAEC is inviting candidates to apply for VMDAEC Education Scholarship. The primary residence of applicant’s parent or legal guardian must receive its power from one of the 15 electric cooperatives served by Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives (VMDAEC) to apply for the program.
The purpose of the program is to offer financial support to the candidates who are struggling with their financial expenses and whose families are taking services from VMDAEC. The main goal of the scholarship is to support the students and encourage them to achieve success with hard work and perseverance. The program is initiated to provide support to the students who are willing to achieve excellence in their careers, but a high financial burden is stopping them.
The Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives (VMDAEC) is the best association providing serving best services to three states. The association completed its 75th anniversary in 2019 with an excellent record of offering the best services. The association offers services to 2 million people in the three states to people. The Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association is the largest consumer organization in each of the three states. The association offer tremendous programs for the progress of the people living there.

Who May Be Eligible?
Applying for the scholarship, review the criteria listed below:
- The primary residence of applicant’s parent or legal guardian must receive its power from one of the 15 electric cooperatives served by Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives (VMDAEC) to apply for the program.
- Fellows must be a senior graduating from either high school or home school in 2021 to be eligible.
- Applicant must make sure they must be entering his or her first semester at a post-secondary school in the fall of 2021.
How to Apply
Students should apply for the program through an online application form. Students are requested to complete the application with all the needed details with concern. The association will entertain no incomplete application. Fellows should strictly follow the deadline as late applications will not be accepted. All the needed material must be provided with concern. Candidates should maintain the originality of the data they are submitting.
Applications must be submitted with all details.
Selected students will get the award amount of $1000. Funds can be applied towards tuition, student fees, room and board, or textbooks of the selected students. Students are encouraged to do better in their careers with the help of funds. This scholarship motivates students to maintain a good academic record. The program encourages students to benefit society with their education.
