Do you support vegetarianism/veganism and want to tell people about the benefits of being vegetarian/vegan or encourage them to follow a vegetarian diet? If yes, then the Vegetarian Video Scholarship could be the right opportunity for you. This funding program is being offered by Vegetarian Resource Group and will give eligible participants a chance to create and submit a video on what they want to tell others about vegetarianism and/or veganism. Humour and feelings will be admired. Videos are supposed to be positive, not be critical of anyone, and not include any footage of animal cruelty. If you already have a video that you have made on the same topic, then you can send it to enter this program. The video will be judged based on accuracy, and the judges hold the right to share received videos with others.
All the entrants will be asked to give permission to Vegetarian Resource Group to post and share the video, link to and from the video, and share the video with the media. The content must not be obscene, offensive or defamatory to any person or otherwise illegal. Entrants can send their video along with some information such as name, street address, city, state, zip, phone number, e-mail contact, a brief statement on why you are interested in vegetarianism, a link to your video via email with the subject life “Vegetarian Video”. Furthermore, applicants should indicate if they are 18 or older. If the entrants are under 18, then they are required to include a parent or guardian’s permission for entry and use of the video.
Vegetarian Resource Group is a non-profit organization devoted to educating people about vegetarianism and the interrelated issues of health, nutrition, ecology, ethics, and world hunger. It publishes the vegetarian journal, cookbooks, other books, pamphlets, and article reprints. This organization is a group of health professionals, activists, and educators who work with businesses and individuals to bring positive change to your schools, workplace and community.

Benefits
Winners will receive one $200 scholarship plus two $100 awards. The award amount may be used to pay for the study expenses or other.
