How to Apply
Students who apply for need-based scholarships will have to complete the FAFSA with the school code. Students availing the merit scholarships do not need to submit any separate application. They only need to apply for admissions. Competitive scholarships need a separate application, such as the general application, to avail of the various scholarships being offered.
For competitive scholarships, students will have to submit personal statements and essays.

- Dean’s Non-Resident Scholarship- 50% of non-resident fees
- Provost’s Non-Residential Scholarship- Waives non-resident fees
Transfer Merit Scholarships:
- Chancellor’s Transfer Scholarship- $3,000 per year
- UMSL Gateway Transfer Scholarship- $2,000 per year
- Associates Degree Completion Incentive Scholarship- $1,000 per year
