In an effort of supporting the academic and professional development of students, University at Buffalo is granting a fantastic Pride of New York Scholarship. The programme is targeted to help those high-achieving students who are residents of New York State and applying for admission as freshmen at the University of Buffalo.
The award amount of the scholarship will be based on students’ academic merit. This financial support will prove a great help for students who cannot afford to gain higher education at a leading university due to their financial circumstances. It will allow students to acquire top-class education in a field they are passionate about and invest more time in focusing on studies rather than doing a part-time job.
With more than 31,000 students from around the world, University at Buffalo is the largest institute for higher learning in the State University of New York system. It is one of the top 40 public universities in the country. It comprises three main campuses situated in the different beautiful locations of New York, and it operates several schools and colleges as well for art, science, architecture, management, nursing, and law, etc. At this institution, students have the option to pick from more than 125 undergraduate degree programmes and over 320 master, doctorate, and combined degree programmes which are well-designed as well as highly ranked.

- Recipients of the scholarship must be residents of New York State.
How to Apply
To get priority consideration for this funding programme, all candidates need to enrol in any undergraduate course of their liking at the University at Buffalo as soon as possible. Application for admission must reach to university on time as the late application can cause disqualification. No additional application is needed.
Benefits
This scholarship will benefit all successful candidates by providing an educational fund that exclusively for non-tuition costs. This fund will help students pay for their expenses and make completing the undergraduate level at University at Buffalo affordable. This scholarship is a renewal for two to four years for all eligible applicants.
