Who May Be Eligible

Please check out the following requirements before proceeding with the application process:

  • The contest is open internationally to new and established writers aged 18 years or over. There is no upper age limit;
  • There are no restrictions on setting, genre or theme.

How to Apply

Interested candidates can send their entry through the online portal of Twist & Twain, where they will find two application forms out of which one is for Indian writer and the other is for non-residents of India. What they need to do is choose a form as per their residency and complete it with all accurate information and send it to Twist & Twain by the application deadline.

Supporting Documents

As a supporting document, applicants must provide a short story that must be written originally in the English language and should not exceed the 4000-word limit. Entries exceeding the word limit will be disqualified. Aspirants can send more than one story as a supporting document.

Benefits

The prize will be distributed as fellow:

  • 1st Prize – Rs. 25,000 or $300 approx
  • 2nd Prize – Rs. 15,000 or $180 approx
  • 3rd Prize – Rs. 10,000 or $120 approx
