The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Champion Athleticwear are together offering financial aid in the form of scholarships to students who have enrolled themselves in Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) or a Predominantly Black Institution (PBI). This scholarship is meant to support students of African American origin and will be offered to eligible students who meet the required criteria.
A total number of 20 scholarships will be awarded to students who have enrolled themselves in TMCF member-school during the academic session of 2021-2022, have a minimum GPA of 2.8 on their previous year of study, have leadership skills, can demonstrate their financial needs, and can prove themselves as the permanent residents of USA. Students are also required to submit high school transcripts and a 250 words write-up on the given topic. A total amount of $2500 will be awarded to students that can be used for the 2021-2022 academic school year.
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund and Champion Athleticwear are on a mission to provide financial support to the outstanding and talented students who have enrolled themselves in 47 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) or a Predominantly Black Institution (PBI). These scholarships will be provided to deserving students who prove academic excellence and are really in need of some financial assistance to carry on their higher studies.

Who is Eligible?
Students who have currently enrolled themselves full-time as incoming freshmen at a TMCF member school during the 2021-2022 academic school year and have a minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher are eligible for this scholarship. Students must also demonstrate their financial needs clearly and prove themselves as permanent US residents. Along with these, students must also provide a High School transcript and a short write-up of 250 words to avail of this scholarship.
