2021 TDC Superscript High School Scholarship

The Monotype is excitingly expecting applications for their wonderful 2021 TDC Superscript Scholarship. Candidates should be a BIPOC junior college of first-year graduate or postgraduate school student who demonstrate exceptional promise and talent in design and creation of letterforms (typeface, lettering or calligraphy) studying at any college or university in the United States to be considered. Applicants should have a GPA of 3.0 to apply.

The Monotype and TDC have designed this scholarship to help designing students with their education and support them to be successful. The firm knows that most of the talented students do not get an opportunity to complete their higher education or flaunt their skills and for giving the students the platform and helping them complete their education this scholarship has been designed. The company wants to empower students to achieve their goals through this program.

The TDC has created a number of scholarships to support and level up the careers of design students. The scholarships are sponsored by Monotype to enhance the growth of the deserving candidates and the field of design. The Foundation is passionate about the growth of the design field through different programs. Who May Be Eligible

  • Portfolio, completed application, written statement, three samples of work completed in school, A signed statement verifying that it is your work, and a Letters of recommendation for those candidates who advance to the second round is mandatory.
  • Submit your statement showing the financial need to be considered.

Benefits

One student will be selected and awarded the amount of $5000. The amount must only be utilized to pay the education-related needs of the candidates like tuition, books, room and other related needs. This program encourages students to achieve their career goals by working hard and maintaining their academic record. The scholarship effectively reduces the financial burden of the students.
