T1D Warrior Scholarship for High School and Undergraduate Students

Bold.org is proud to tell you that they are taking a generous initiative in the form of a scholarship program specially designed to support the individuals or students suffering or living with Type 1 Diabetes. We all know that a disease like Diabetes can be quite a struggle for someone who has just started living his life and pursuing his dreams. They have to deal with a constant infection and yet focus on their studies and school. Everything around you can be pretty troublesome if you are to 24/7 deal with such a situation and especially this covid-19 pandemic, there were so many chaoses and anxieties affecting Type 1 Diabetics. Regardless of these difficulties and struggles, T1D’s are fighters and survivors at the same time who are determined never to stop. They merit acknowledgment for their persistence in facing the wide range of conflicts they have in their lives. 

Therefore, with the sole purpose of helping such students, bold.org is launching this scholarship to help undergrads with T1D. The T1D Warriors Scholarship will be granted to somebody who is effectively dealing with their Diabetes and inspires others to do likewise. To be qualified for this grant, you should be a high school senior or undergrad understudy who has Type 1 Diabetes. To apply, kindly pen down an essay on how you’ve accepted the weight of your Diabetes for the advantages that it gives. The candidate with the best response will be announced as the winner of the scholarship. The deadline for the application submission is November 6, 2021, and the winner of the scholarship will be announced on December 6, 2021.

Who is Eligible?

Following are the eligibility requirements that need to be satisfied for entering the following scholarship contest:

  • Open to undergraduate and high school senior students.
  • You must havea Type 1 Diabetes
  • U.S. Citizen or permanent legal resident

How to Apply?

To apply for the subsequent scholarship program, the interested individuals are required to fill out the application form provided on the scholarship portal and submit it there only. Additionally, the candidates are required to write a 400-600 words essay on the topic: How have you embraced the burden of your diabetes for the benefits that it provides?

Supporting Documents

After announcing the winner, the winner will have to provide proof of enrolment in the form of recent transcripts.

Benefits

The winner will be publicly announced on December 6, 2021, and be awarded one-time scholarship money of $500. The amount will be transferred by cheque directly to the institution’s financial aid office the candidate is attending. If there is no financial aid office in the candidate’s school or college, the amount will be directly transferred to the candidate.
