Like science, sports and business, art education is also essential for the proper development of a student. It is believed that art aids in building engaged, curious, inspired, and contributing citizens. Art has the power to bring people together and strengthen people and communities. Sun Valley Museum of Art understands this fact, and that is why they want to promote art education by providing beneficial scholarship opportunities in the same. Every year, the organization grants five different scholarship programs to students and educators to further their education in art and humanities. Sun Valley Museum of Art’s Scholarships is created with the help of funds raised at the SVMoA’s Annual Wine Auction and private donations.
The name of this year’s five amazing funding schemes carried by Sun Valley Museum of Art is The Wendy & Alan Pesky Educator Scholarship; The Gay V. Weake Scholarship; High School Arts & Humanities Scholarship; Ezra Pound Scholarship; Jack Thornton Memorial Scholarship For The Performing Arts; That Time I Knew I Belonged: 2022 Writing Competition.
