Who May Be Eligible
Following is the eligibility criteria to apply for this scholarship:
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Massachusetts
- Students must be a United States citizen or an eligible non-citizen
- Candidates must have demonstrated commitment to the field of early care, and education applicant must be currently working in a paid position for a minimum of 20 hours per week in an EEC licensed or authorized program
- Applicant must be currently being employed for at least six months as determined by EEC
- Fellows must continue employment in an EEC licensed or authorized program while earning their degree
- The candidate must be Register with EEC’S Professional Qualifications Registry (PQR) and have an active PQR number.
- Candidates must agree to continue to work in early education and care or out of school time for a minimum of 2 years.
