The Art Plus Gallery is pleasingly welcoming students to apply for their incredible Art Plus Gallery 2021 Student Art Scholarship. Applicants should be enrolled at the senior class level in a Berks County public, private, charter or home school, and display proved artistic ability in any of following mediums: drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, fine craft or fine art photography or digital art media to be eligible.

The Art Plus Gallery is willing to enhance the art field with their incredible Scholarship by helping the students pay their educational expenses needs. This program is created to motivate the students in arts to do better in their careers by appreciating their artistic interest. The organization is dedicated to making educational expenses load of the students and help them achieve their goals even in academics and arts.

The Art Plus Gallery holds the most amazing creations of award-winning artists working in public venues and private collections around the country. The Art Plus Gallery founded 1999 have an incredible collection of art by artists that drop anyone’s jaws. The Foundation’s main purpose is to help local artists display, market and sell their artwork, connect the community to art through significant art-related activities, give artists insights into galleries’ business side, and develop an art career.

  • Berks County senior accepted into a college-level fine art, art education or commercial art are eligible.
  • Applicants should be enrolled at the senior class level in a Berks County public, private, charter or home school, and display proved artistic ability in any of the following mediums: drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, fine craft or fine art photography or digital art media to be eligible.

How to Apply

All the students who seem eligible and interested should apply for this competition by applying available on the website. Candidates should download the guidelines for a better understanding to be considered for this award. Please do not submit any late applications as those will not be accepted by the Foundation. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.

Supporting Documents

  • PDFs of two letters of recommendation, one of which should be from an art teacher, ten jpegs of your artwork no larger than 2mgs each and 250 – 500 words essay in response to one or more of the essay questions must be provided.

Benefits

One winner will be selected to award the Scholarship of $500. This amount must only be used to pay the academic needs of the students. The amount can be used to defray the costs like tuition, room and other related needs. This program encourages the students to do better in their artistic careers by appreciating and motivating them. The process of the program is simple and makes Scholarship accessible.
