The SPCA of Texas is organizing a Pet Photo Calendar Contest, and you can register for the contest by paying an entry fee of $25. To participate in the contest, you have to submit a high-resolution photograph of your pet in a landscape format in a .png, .pdf, .tiff or .bmp file format and please do not feature a human being or else the photograph will be disqualified. The photographs for featuring in the calendar will be decided based on voting. To vote, you have to pay an extra donation amount of $5. The photograph entry, as well as the voting, is open till August 31, 2021.
Twelve photographs with the highest number of votes will be featured in the 2022 calendar. It is an opportunity to get your cute furry friend featured in a calendar that has a wide reach. Also, this is a chance for the budding photographers to present their talent to the world and showcase their creativity and skills and work on improving themselves. Participating in the contest will help you gain a whole new perspective towards your pets and help you enhance yourself in the photography field.

Who is Eligible?
All the individuals of the USA owning a cute furry friend are eligible to take part in the SPCA of Texas Pet Photo Calendar Contest. No minimum age criteria required. SPCA welcomes anyone and everyone to participate in the contest.
How to Apply?
For participating, submit the following items satisfying the stated conditions:
- Photos of cats, dogs, horses, or any mammal can be submitted.
- Submit the photo in .jpg, .bmp, .png, or .tiff format.
- The photo should be in coloured format.
- Photos may contain more than one pet.
- The photograph should be in high resolution (300 dpi minimum)
- The photograph should be in horizontal format, and no humans should be featured.
- Pay an entry fee of $25 per entry.
- Photographs should not be altered or edited.
- The polaroid, stickers, doodles, etc., are not eligible for participation.

Benefits
The photos will be available for voting by paying a minimum of $5 per vote. This is the opportunity to kickstart your photography career and is a great stage for amateur photographers to showcase their talent. The top 12 photographs with the highest votes will be featured in the SPCA’s 2022 Calendar.

The last date for submitting your photographs as well as voting is August 31, 2021. No entries or votes after the deadline will be invalid.
