Soliant Consulting has proudly announced the Sunrise Scholarship, which is awarded to one college undergraduate enrolled or about to enrol in the Fall 2021-Spring 2022 course or program. This $1000 scholarship is a one-time educational scholarship awarded to one student who has given the best answers to the question provided by Soliant. The question is, “How can software engineers and developers take a more active role in adhering to technology ethics and protecting those affected by the solutions they build?” and the answer must be between 400 to 450 words. Anyone who does not adhere to the requirements will automatically be disqualified. The answer must be sent via email by the end of April, and the winner will be announced by the end of May.
Scholarships are awarded to students who have shown outstanding academic achievements. These awards can be used to pay for tuition and education-related expenses. Not every single student is able to afford the rising tuition costs and everything that goes with living as a full-time student. So, institutes, organizations, businesses, and agencies conduct online or offline scholarship contests/competitions in the form of essay writing, video presentation, or whichever suits their interests. Students who have fulfilled these criteria in the best possible way are given a prize award.

Who May Be Eligible?
To be eligible, the candidates must be following all the eligibility criteria:
- Must be a legal permanent resident or citizen of the US
- Currently enrolled or accepted in a two-year or four-year college or university within the country
- Graduate and Masters current or future students cannot apply for this scholarship
- Eligible candidates must have a 4.0 GPA on a scale of 4.0 and have taken the ACT or SAT
How to Apply
To apply for the Soliant Sunrise scholarship, students must answer the following question: “How can software engineers and developers take a more active role in adhering to technology ethics and protecting those affected by the solutions they build?” This essay must be written and submitted by the applicants, and once it is submitted, it cannot be retracted or re-submitted again. The essay must have a minimum of 400 and a maximum of 450 words excluding the title and send via email to scholarship@soliantconsulting.com with the subject line as “Soliant Sunrise Scholarship Entry.” It should be attached as an MS Word or PDF file, or it can be pasted in the body of the email.
