He would have graduated in June 1989. Appallingly, Jim Lantz died in an accident in November 1986. Jim had planned to go to medical school, and his dream was to become a doctor. He was a member of the Boy Scouts and enjoyed the occasion to help others through casework.

High School Transcript must be attached to the applications.

  • Applicants must submit a YMCA Program and Activity Form.
  • Students must also attach a Non-Y Athletic and/or fitness activities Form and Non-YMCA Community Activities Form.
  • Students must submit a paragraph about how they demonstrate the Y Core Values.
  • Three letters of recommendation must be attached with the application. This scholarship must be from any professional; letters from family members or friends will not be considered for the scholarship.
