The AVL Today has announced Rep Your City Design Contest. All artists are invited to apply. They’re starting their Rep Your City Design Contest, in which artists and designers may submit ideas for consideration to be featured on goods in The AVLtoday Shop – an online store with apparel highlighting local landmarks and city slogans — and win up to $1,500. What is the goal? Working with and supporting creatives, sharing innovative creations, and celebrating our city are all goals we have set for ourselves.
Designers are encouraged to contribute local-themed designs, drawings, or paintings that may be scanned and printed on t-shirts, mugs, posters, bags, and other items. Applications are now open for this exciting competition for designers and artists from across the country. They’re searching for the following designs: Think about identifiable skylines, landscapes, buildings, and landmarks while thinking of city icons, Celebrities from the area, Important city events, History is a fascinating subject, Food and beverage, and Well-known businesses
This contest will run through 2021, with several rounds, awards, and opportunities to submit designs. The designs that did not win are kept in the pool of submissions for the following round. By voting in a poll on their website, their audience selects the winning designs (1 or more every round). The voting rounds last for one week.
Local communities are educated and activated as a result of AVL Today’s efforts. 6 AM City was created to bring local communities together by giving them new methods to consume, participate in, and exchange local content. They seek to create communities that are driven by dialogue and geared for maximum involvement through their conversational tone, editorial filter, and interactive approach.

- Artists and designers of any level can apply

Supporting Documents
Fill out the form below to submit your design (JPG and PNG files only; maximum file size is 500MB).
Applicants are allowed to submit as many designs as they want.
If chosen, the winner must be able to create a design that meets the following requirements:
- Type of file: JPG or PNG
- A 300 DPI print resolution is required.
- sRGB colour profile stored
Benefits
This year the Rep Your City Design Contest in collaboration with AVL Today are awarding exciting prizes to the winners. You can earn up to $1,500 if you work hard enough. We’ll pay $500 for the rights to use and print your design, plus an extra $100 for every 100 pieces purchased up to 1,000 units. Your profile, website, and social media will be included on our store’s “Meet the Artists” page.
We’ll use your design in our emails, social media, and advertising materials.
