Who May Be Eligible
Eligibility criteria for Rentec Direct Tech Mastery Scholarship are mentioned below:
- Applicants must be enrolled or planning to be registered as full-time students in a computer science degree program or related field.
- Candidates must be enrolled or planning to be enrolled at an accredited US college or university.
- To be accepted for the scholarship, applicants must have good-standing and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a scale of 4.0.
How to Apply
Applications for the scholarship can be submitted online through email. Applications must be sent on the following email scholarship@rentecdirect.com. Students are requested to attach all the documents without any negligence. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered for the scholarship. Late submissions will not be deemed to award funds in any conditions.
Supporting Documents
- Applicants must submit an essay on the following topic: “What are some the greatest problems the tech industry has overcome in the past five years and what, if any, major obstacles do you foresee for the industry in the future?” this essay should not be more than 1000 words and the article will be judged based on the level of creativity, humour (we love to laugh), and content.
- Applicants must submit a cover letter with the application. This cover letter should explain why the applicant has chosen to pursue the degree and how it will benefit their future.
- Candidates must attach a copy of their academic transcript with the application.
- Fellows must also attach University Enrollment Status (current students) OR University Acceptance letter for High School Seniors or New Graduate Students.
Benefits
Four winners will be awarded the Rentec Direct Tech Mastery Scholarship. Each winner will be awarded a scholarship fund of $500. Applicants can use this scholarship reward for their educational expenses such as books, travel, tuition fees, etc. With this scholarship’s help, the financial burden is taken off of the students, which helps them focus on their academics.
