The PFLAG organisation has introduced PFLAG South Orange County Scholarship. The PFLAG South Orange County encourages outstanding graduating high school seniors and college/vocational applicants to apply for scholarships. This opportunity will help provide financial aid to any student who identifies themselves to be queer. Applications are open to any individual who is aspiring to get into a university during the 2021 academic year. So, if you are a student who is currently in this situation and have had several instances where opportunities were deprived due to your sexuality, then this opportunity is for you.
The PFLAG South Orange County Scholarship aims at helping individuals to feel comfortable with their sexuality and as well as promote LGBTQ rights. Because of who they love, how they look, or who they are, people all over the world are subjected to abuse and injustice, as well as torture and even execution. Sexual preference and gender identity are important facets of ourselves that can never be discriminated against or abused. This scholarship aims at ending this barbaric discrimination.
You may be an adult, family member, or acquaintance of a gay, homosexual, bisexual, transgender, or questioning person. You may be an LGBTQ person who is in the process of coming out and coping with families, workplace, or social problems related to your sexual orientation. Whatever your case, the following local PFLAG Chapters will provide you with encouragement, knowledge, approval, and friendship: Long Beach, Manhattan Beach/South Bay, Newport Beach, Orange County, and South Orange County. This is what the organisation promises of delivering.
