This scholarship is available to any current high school senior, graduate student or college student who is currently enrolled in a two- to five- year post-secondary institution or will be in the semester following the scholarship deadline. All students must legally reside in the United States in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia.

- The scholarship is eligible for any current high school senior, college student, or graduate student who is currently enrolled in a two- to- five-year post-secondary institution and will be the semester given the scholarship deadline.
- All candidates must legally reside in the United States in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia.
- Candidates for this scholarship must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher while keeping good overall academic standing within their school.
- Immediate family members of Champlain Valley Law employees and those living in the same household are not allowed to submit entries for this scholarship.
How to Apply
Only the eligible candidates should begin the application process. To apply for this scholarship, students must email their full application materials and details to info@champlainvalleylaw.com before the deadlines. Any applications will not be applicable after this date. Scholarship applications must submit with the subject line “First initial.lastname – 2020 Persevering Through Injury Scholarship Application.”
Supporting Documents
- All candidates must submit a 750-1,000 word essay response to the prompt: Who is someone you look up to for using perseverance, mental fortitude, and resilience to overcome a serious injury?
- The candidate must submit a professional resume that lists their experience, both professional and academic.
- The students must send a transcript from their current school. First-year college applicants, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred schools may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school, as well as the most recent official transcript from their primary school. High school students should also submit proof of acceptance to their college or university.

The selected student will receive a scholarship of amount $1000. This amount should be utilized to pay the candidates’ education-related expenses like tuition, room, and other verified needs. This scholarship reduces the financial stress on the students and helps them achieve their career goals. This scholarship motivates the students to do better in their academics.
