The Ohio Pork Council is offering wonderful OPC Scholarships opportunities to the students seeking assistance to obtain higher education. Students entering freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year of college whose parents or guardians are actively involved in the Pork Industry are inspired to apply for the scholarships.
The purpose of introducing the OPC Scholarships is to help students achieve success and higher education. The scholarship will grant financial benefits to qualified students. The scholarship aims to encourage students getting aware of the pork industry, work hard, and achieve success.
The Ohio Park Council was established in 1968 with a mission to serve and benefit all Ohio Pork Producers. When leaders in Ohio’s pork industry determined it was a necessity to promote their product, the establishment took place. When the organization began, about 800 farmers dedicated themselves to this task. The council consists of around 25,000 in the present.

Who May be Eligible?
The applicants must refer to the eligibility criteria to apply for the OPC Scholarships.
- Applicants or their guardians must be actively involved in the pork industry to be eligible.
- Applicants and their guardians must be a member of the Ohio Pork Council and Ohio residents.
- Applicant must be entering freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year of college.

Benefits
The OPC Scholarships will award various grants to qualified students.
