New Song Recovery Scholarship

The students pursuing psychology or behavioural health-related study at an accredited College or University have a chance to apply for a fantastic scholarship. The program is being introduced by the New Song Recovery Center.

The award has a purpose of improving the lives of people engaged in addiction treatment and also to help students who come with the best possible ways to do so. The recipient will be provided financial aid to complete his/her education.

Newsong Recovery Center works to provide a safe, caring, and therapeutic environment where individuals facing substance use and mental disorders can write a new song. It is located in southern California.

Who May Eligible?

The below requirements should be fulfilled to apply for the scholarship:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident
  • Must be enrolled or accepted at an accredited college or university and plan to continue enrollment
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.6
  • Consent to a talent release and be willing to provide a digital photograph and quote for display on New Song Recovery’s websites if chosen as the winner
  • Graduating high school seniors who meet the above criteria are eligible to apply

How to Apply

The interested applicants can fill out their details through an online application form to qualify the program.

Supporting Documents

  • Must submit a short personal statement with less than 500 words.
  • The statement should state your focus on psychology or behavioral health, the reason why you chose this major, and how addiction treatment has affected their determination to pursue their studies.

Benefits

The New Song Recovery Center is pleased to offer a $1,000 scholarship award. The recipient will be able to pay for any studies related expenses.
