MPOWER Global Citizen Scholarship for Students in USA and Canada

MPOWER is happy to inform university students from all around the world that they are starting a Global Citizen Scholarship for international DASA students. At MPOWER, they believe that they’re not simply growing access to advanced education but they are likewise investing and making globally-minded, multi-lingual, socially skilled graduates ready to take on the world’s most major issues in science, innovation, business, and public approach In acknowledgement of the unprecedented capability of these students, they’ve made the MPOWER Global Citizen Scholarship. In order to be qualified, the candidate must be accepted at or enrolled in a full-time degree program at the U.S. or Canadian school that MPOWER supports. The candidate must be an international student allowed to legally study in the U.S. or Canada, as applicable. For study in the U.S., this means that the applicant must be either a permanent resident of the US or has a valid visa that permits study in the U.S. the candidate must also be protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). For study in Canada, this means the applicant must be either a Canadian permanent resident or has a valid Canadian study permit. The three winners of the scholarship will be selected and be given cash prizes as Grand Prize: $5,000, Runner-Up: $2,000, Honorable Mention: $1,000. The application submission for the following scholarship must be done no later than October 15, 2021.

Who is Eligible?

The eligibility requirements for the following scholarship contest is as follows:

  • Be accepted at, or enrolled in, a full-time degree program at a U.S. or Canadian school that MPOWER supports, and
  • Be an international student allowed to legally study in the U.S. or Canada, as applicable:
    • For study in the U.S., this means that the applicant meets one of these criteria:
      • Has a valid visa that permits study in the U.S.
      • Is protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
      • Is a U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder)
    • For study in Canada, this means the applicant meets one of these criteria:
      • Is a Canadian permanent resident
      • Has a valid Canadian study permit
