More Than A Teacher Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship

To shed some light on the significant roles our teachers and professor play in our lives, Smith Hulsey Law has launched a fantastic program named “More Than A Teacher Scholarship”. This $1000 scholarship will support the education of those students who share the best story of their favourite teacher or professor and how they have made a positive impact on their lives and education. To become a potential applicant for this program, candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program within the United States. High school seniors who will be enrolled in college before the application deadline are also welcome to apply.

Who May Be Eligible

Applicants are required to be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program within the United States. High school seniors who will be enrolled in college before the application deadline of October 31, 2021, are also encouraged to apply. Applicants must be in good academic standing and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

  • An updated resume listing academic, professional, and volunteer experiences
  • A current or your most recent official or unofficial academic transcript. If you are a high school senior, you must also submit proof of acceptance to your college or university
  • A 750-1,000 word essay sharing an inspiring story about your favourite teacher or professor and how they have influenced your life and/or education
