The MnTech Foundation is accepting applications for the STEM Scholarships 2021 until May 15, 2021. The winners will be announced at the Tekne Awards on November 17, 2021. Any Minnesota undergraduate students in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines can apply for these scholarships.These $2500 and $5000 awards include internship opportunities at MnTech member companies. MnTech Foundation wants to support diversity in this application and award process. Additionally, even health science majors whose studies will not lead to participation in direct patient care can apply. Most of these scholarships are supported by the MnTech Foundation, while some are sponsored by Minnesota technology companies and organizations.
STEM scholarships can be useful to fund the expensive science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) courses and programs. Scholarships are financial aids awards designed to help students to pay for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a college or university. These prestigious awards make education easier to access because one of the popular reasons students drop out and cannot complete their education is financial difficulties. With scholarships, students can pay part of the tuition or full tuition and concentrate solely on studies.
