The program is willing to encourage the students engaged in the prescribed field to develop the UUA’s religion. They are creating to empower the women in the Hispanic or Latina community.
The organization aims to motivate the female candidates in UUA and build them strong in faith and religious education or music leadership programs. The program is focusing on building the self-esteem of the female to face the male-dominant world. They provide the best opportunity to all the candidates in the community and help them create their own identity.
UU Women’s Federation is an independent, non-profit and one of only two associate member organizations of the Unitarian Universalist Association. The organization is the inheritor of a proud tradition. UUWF was formed in 1963 through the help of the Association of Universalist Women and the Alliance of Unitarian Women. The organization focuses on giving priorities to reproductive justice, immigration reform, economic justice, and other issues as these impact women and girls.

Benefits

This scholarship motivates students to achieve their goals and overcomes obstacles. $2,000 to $3,000 will be awarded.
