Mantra College Mental Health Provider Diversity Scholarship

Mantra Health is excitingly inviting students to apply for their wonderful Mantra College Mental Health Provider Diversity Scholarship. Fellows have to be Graduate and postdoctoral students of colour in the US who are actively pursuing a degree related to mental health and are currently completing fieldwork/practicum/rotation in a university or college counselling centre. Candidates for the program are graduate students from historically marginalized communities (e.g. Black, Hispanic and Latinx, Native American, Asian and Pacific Islander).

This organization understand that it is difficult for many students to get the support they need to accomplish their academic and career goals. The mission of this program is to support individuals from diverse backgrounds who are interested in becoming mental health providers. The eligibility is for graduate and postdoctoral students. This scholarship aim is to defray barriers for BIPOC to enter the field, not only to provide equal opportunity and help for aspiring providers but also to address disparities in mental health care at large. So all the fellows must be a part of this scholarship.

Mantra Health is a digital mental health provider that partners with higher education institutions. The organization understands that the people of colour in America have historically experienced a higher rate of mental and emotional health issues, and the pandemic has only exacerbated. Who May Be Eligible

All the students should take a look at the needs set by the organization to be eligible:
