Bridging Scholarships

The Bridging Project offers scholarships to American Citizens who are participating in study-abroad programs in Japan and enrolled as undergraduates in a college or university in the United States. Bridging Scholarship recipients receive a stipend of $2,500 (for students on semester-long programs) or $4,000 (for students on academic year programs)

ASA Minority Fellowship Program

The American Sociological Association (ASA) has announced Minority Fellowship Program for those applicants who are enrolled in a program that grants the Ph.D. in sociology at the time of applying. The fellowship provides an annual stipend of $18,000 for each award. In addition, arrangements for the payments of tuition are made with universities or departments.
