The organization is providing the scholarship for the students who are going through down Syndrome, and They are helping such students explore the beauty of the earth and surrounding. For scholarships, students just have to apply for the camping, and one student will receive the maximum amount.
The organization aims to make every student get the experience of camping. They believe that every kid deserves the chance to witness the camp’s adventure and the opportunity to benefit from the camp experience. Camp Scholarship is dedicated to giving this opportunity to all children who will benefit by growing in spirit, mind, and body and have a camping experience.
Manasota BUDS provides enriching activities, summer classes, or other approved activities for the students who are suffering from down syndrome and want to receive a scholarship to attend the camp for summer 2021. For the last 18 years, they have maintained their affiliation with the National Down Syndrome Society, the National Down Syndrome Congress and hosted an annual Buddy Walk. Manasota BUDS is an affiliate of the Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action group in 2011.
