Ruby’s Rainbow is taking an excellent move to complete the student wish who is planning for higher education through scholarships.
The main motive of this scholarship is to support deserving students through these funds. Their goal for 2021 is to help as many people rockin’ that extra chromosome as we possibly can to go for their dreams of higher education and independence! They plan to help as many students with chromosomal abnormalities and help them live independent lives with education.

Ruby’s Rainbow understands that completing higher education is very difficult considering students’ expenses, and for supporting adequately with their needs, these scholarships have been created. Ruby’s Rainbow has a tremendous and terrific view towards higher qualifications of students irrespective of their abnormalities. They are willing to take the initiative to improve their career for better life opportunities. They have added various new scholarship programs for the students who need assistance in their daily life and created a great option. Who May Be Eligible
Kindly check the needs to make you eligible for this scholarship:
- Applicant must be a patient with Down syndrome who is 18 years of age or older.
- Fellows must have the desire and intent to enrol or continue enrollment in a course or program that will enhance their lives through employment, independent living or life skills, or interest in other areas.
- Candidates must provide a copy of their high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of completion) or transcripts if graduating in the spring of this year.
- Individuals who have previously been awarded a Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship may apply for another scholarship.
How to Apply
Applicants can either print the pdf and apply for the application with the required documents attached to it. Or they can fill the complete form online and submit it to the email id given in the link. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Supporting Documents
- Applications should be submitted before the deadline to be accepted.
- Candidates must submit a completed and signed application form.
- Fellows must submit Two references with contact information (phone #s or email addresses)
- The student should provide Two letters of recommendation (ONLY two!)
- The fellow should provide Parent/Guardian Information (if applicable)
- The fellow must provide Proof of high school graduation or upcoming graduation.
- Applicant must give an Applicant essay at least 100 words in length.
- Students must provide one or more photos of them.
- Fellows must give Proof of estimated tuition cost for one academic year of your program/intended program if applying for $7,000 or more.
